Playing in one of only three matchups between ranked opponents this weekend, the Wolverines know that their primetime meeting with No. 15 Wisconsin is sure to draw extra attention, including playing host to the ESPN College GameDay crew. Wolverines climb three spots in the polls

The Wolverines dropped a spot in each poll a week ago after a close call with Northwestern, but made up ground after defeating Maryland 42-21 on Saturday, climbing three places in both the Associated Press and the USA Today / Amway Coaches Poll.

Michigan pulled away from Maryland for a 42-21 victory on Saturday afternoon, surging past the Terrapins with five consecutive scoring possessions and a late pick-6. Following the game, running back Karan Higdon, center Cesar Ruiz, quarterback Shea Patterson and VIPER Khaleke Hudson were among the players to comment on their performance.

Wolverines push past Maryland for homecoming win

The Wolverines got off to a slow start following a severe weather delay on Saturday against Maryland, managing only a field goal on their first four possessions. With that score quickly answered by a kickoff return for a touchdown, it looked for a time that Michigan could have a fight on its hands. Leaning on a suffocating defensive performance though, the U-M offense finally found its footing, scoring on six straight possessions to win 42-21.
