After a surge of late summer commitments, things grew relatively quiet on the recruiting front for the Wolverines with only one 2018 pledge announced in the last two and a half months. Michigan made noise though on Friday evening, landing a big-time commitment from tight end Mustapha Muhammad.

Michigan’s quick pace on the basketball recruiting front isn’t slowing down. The Wolverines grabbed another highly rated player on Wednesday, picking up a commitment from Dayton Beech (Fla.) Father Lopez Catholic forward Colin Castleton.

The rapid pace of change for Michigan basketball’s 2018 recruiting class continues. In just over a week’s time, the Wolverines have added a commitment from one big man while seeing another depart, and on Monday evening, they picked up a pledge from shooting guard Adrien Nunez of Oakdale (Conn.) St. Thomas More.

Just a week removed from adding a big man to the 2018 recruiting class, the Wolverines lost one, with 6-foot-8 Clarkston forward Taylor Currie announcing an end to his verbal pledge to the Maize and Blue.

Michigan’s 2018 recruiting class got a bit of a surprise development on Sunday, adding a second quarterback to a class that is already low on available scholarships. Washington (D.C.) St. John's College signal caller Kevin Doyle announced his plans join the Wolverines, becoming the 14th prospect to declare his intentions.
