Hoops adds another 2012 commit

Michigan's already impressive 2012 basketball recruiting class has added a fifth member, with Pickerington (Ohio) Central shooting guard Caris LeVert announcing his pledge to the Maize and Blue. The 6-4, 175 pounder announced the news on his Twitter feed, stating "Just officially committed to the University of Michigan!"

LeVert originally signed to play at Ohio University, but reopened his recruitment after head coach John Groce  departed for Illinois. As a senior, he earned second-team all-state honors after averaging 18 points per game. He selected the Wolverines over Purdue, Dayton, Xavier and Iowa.
