Michigan State struck first in the annual battle between in-state rivals, but the Wolverines scored the next 24, jumping up big on the Spartans and never looking back. Michigan piled on in the second half, taking advantage of field position to put MSU away in a 44-10 victory.

Shea Patterson led the way for the Michigan offense, completing 24-of-33 passes for 384 yards and four touchdowns. His primary target was Ronnie Bell, who pulled in nine receptions for 150 yards. Four different players had touchdown receptions.

Following the game, Jim Harbaugh, Patterson, Donovan Peoples-Jones, Bell, Josh Metellus and Khaleke Hudson shared their thoughts on the game.
