Dax Hill flips back, signs with Michigan

The Wolverines recruiting class seemed to take a big hit just 11 days before early signing day when the nation’s top safety Daxton Hill announced his decommitment after three months pledged to Maize and Blue. Revealing that he would sign with Alabama instead, it is now the Crimson Tide that is left out in the cold on his final decision. The Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington star made a last minute flip back to Michigan on Wednesday, making it official with a signed letter of intent.

Standing in at 6-1, 185 pounds, Hill is regarded as a five-star prospect by each major ranking outlet, coming in as the No. 24 overall prospect on Rivals, the No. 13 player in the nation on ESPN, and No. 7 recruit at any position on 247 Sports.

At the time of his announcement, Hill became the 27th player to sign or verbally commit to Michigan’s 2019 recruiting class.
