Isaiah Livers put together a strong first half off the bench to help build the lead, finishing the game with 12 points. But it was one again true freshman Ignas Brazdeikis that stole the show, putting up 20 points to lead the Wolverines while also grabbing seven rebounds.

Jordan Poole scored 14 points, while Jon Teske pulled down 12 rebounds.

Michigan improved to 6-0 on the season, and should be well-rested heading into showdown with North Carolina, with the win over Chattanooga being the only game played in a nine-day stretch. The Wolverines will host the Tar Heels on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. eastern on ESPN as part of the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Michigan fell to North Carolina 86-71 win Chapel Hill last year. The Tar Heels are 6-1 on the season, winning their first four games, before falling in a close 92-89 game with Texas. They made up for that loss on Friday evening, beating a ranked UCLA squad by 16 points.
