Michigan’s recruiting effort continues to move forward, on Sunday evening adding a pledge from 2019 summer camp standout Tyrece Woods, who announced his decision on Twitter.

“Thank you to the 12 schools who saw potential in me and extended me a scholarship to play at their University,” he tweeted. “This has been a long stressful process but I feel like I can grow as a person in the community, as a student athlete and as a young man.”

Standing in at 6-2, 245 pounds, Woods is rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals and 247 Sports, and is currently unrated by ESPN. Playing at Detroit Martin Luther King prior to this year, he will attend Belleville High School as a senior, joining 2020 U-M commit Andre Seldon.

Woods is Michigan’s 20th commitment for the 2019 class.
