The Wolverines have been quickly building up their 2019 recruiting class over the last couple weeks, but the group that will follow it has also seen some early additions. On Monday evening, Aurora (Ill.) West defensive tackle Denver Warren announced his decision, becoming Michigan’s third pledge for the 2020 class.

Just coming out of his sophomore year, Warren already stands in at 6-3, 300 pounds, garnering four-star ratings from both Rivals and 247 Sports. He selected the Maize and Blue over scholarship offers from Penn State, Michigan State, Iowa, Wisconsin and several others.

The Wolverines have targeted the Big Ten region early for 2020, with Warren joining Ohio wide receiver Kalil Branham and in-state cornerback Andre Seldon.
