Wolverines snag third commit of the day

The commitments continue to fly in for the Maize and Blue. Michigan landed its third pledge of the on Sunday evening, adding defensive tackle Mazi Smith of Grand Rapids (Mich.) East Kentwood to the 2019 recruiting class.

Rated as a four-star prospect on Rivals, 247 Sports and ESPN, the 6-3, 290 pound Smith selected the Wolverines over scholarship opportunities at Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan State and many others.

His pledge brings Michigan up to 14 commitments for the 2019 recruiting class. He joins running back Zach Charbonnet and tight end Erick All, who likewise announced their decisions on Sunday.
