On Friday evening, Reno (Nev.) Damonte Ranch signal caller Cade McNamara announced his commitment to the Wolverines, becoming the sixth player to become a part of the 2019 recruiting class.

Originally committing to Notre Dame last summer, McNamara announced that he was reopening his recruitment in early March. He selected Michigan over scholarship opportunities from Alabama, Southern Cal and others.

“I have been waiting to find this place for a long time,” McNamara stated on Twitter. “I am very excited to announce I will be committing to the University of Michigan,”

Standing in at 6-1, 195 pounds, McNamara is rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals and 247 Sports, while ESPN considers him a three star.
