The Walter Camp Football Foundation announced Friday its list of 50 players to watch for its 2012 Player of the Year award, including Michigan senior quarterback Denard Robinson. As a junior, Robinson passed for 2,173 yards and 20 touchdowns, adding 1,176 yards on the ground and 16 more scores.

This is the third major award that has put Robinson on its watch list, joining the Maxwell Award for the most outstanding college football player and the Davey O'Brien Award, given to the nation’s top quarterback.

Four other Big Ten players were also named to the Walter Camp watch list, including Wisconsin senior running back Montee Ball, Nebraska senior running back Rex Burkhead, Michigan State junior defensive end William Gholston and Penn State junior running back Silas Redd.
