Illinois stars stand out at College Practice Camp


A variety of skilled potential basketball prospects descended on Ann Arbor Saturday to participate in Michigan's one-day College Practice Camp. Unlike many such camps which focus exclusively on gameplay, this event was geared toward skill development under the tutelage of John Beilein and the Michigan coaching staff.

Michigan class rated No. 1 by

The Wolverines now hold the consensus No. 1 class among all major recruiting services, with ESPN announcing today that the Maize and Blue edged out Florida, Alabama, Texas and Georgia for the top spot in the nation in their "very, very, very early" team recruiting rankings. Start times set for two more games

The University of Michigan football program has announced start times for its first two home games against Air Force and Massachusetts, bringing the total to eight kickoff times that are known for the 2012 season.

Updated recruiting hot list

Michigan has added three members to the 2013 recruiting class in the last week, gaining commitments from Maurice Hurst Jr., Henry Poggi and Scott Sypniewski. With available scholarship slots not operating in the negative, Michigan will continue to narrow its focus and be very praticular about who is offered.  See the list of players to watch out for in the recruiting class, complete with updated rankings from all networks.

Ranking the Big Ten safeties

While the Big Ten loses players such as Trenton Robinson and Nick Sukay, it is actually a strong year for safeties across the conference, with several quality players returning.
