Webb pulls in another Big Ten offer
Written by Matt Pargoff

Detroit (Mich.) Cass Tech defensive back Damon Webb has had a busy month. Just three weeks ago he pulled in his first scholarship offer from Toledo. After a strong showing at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp, Michigan and Michigan State promptly joined in with offers as well, which was followed by West Virginia and Ohio State. Yet another Big Ten school threw its hat into the ring on Tuesday.

Five keys to Michigan success in 2012

While Michigan won 11 games last season, most fans of the Maize and Blue look back on the team and recognize that it was still a work in progress. In many respects, that team was probably not as good as previous squads that won as many or even fewer games. Taking a look ahead to 2012, we identify our five keys toward moving the Wolverines forward to the next level they are seeking.

Ross ready to move forward

Among the observers in attendance at the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Southfield last week, incoming Michigan freshman linebacker James Ross wanted to give back. The 6-1, 230 pounder remembers well his time as a high school recruit and felt he had something to contribute by being there.

Ranking the Big Ten linebackers

While some other positions take a major hit in the Big Ten, the linebacker spot is one that remains incredibly strong. Several of the top players return from a year ago, plus several more promising young stars like Michigan’s Jake Ryan will look to emerge among the elite. See how the conference’s top linebackers stack up.

Richardson excited for challenge ahead

Last week, the Sound Mind Sound Body Camp in Southfield played host to hundreds of high school prospects as well as college coaches from around the Midwest. Several Michigan commitments were in attendance, but they weren’t the only future Wolverines on hand, with incoming freshman cornerback Terry Richardson watching the event as well.
