Dax Hill flips back, signs with Michigan

The Wolverines recruiting class seemed to take a big hit just 11 days before early signing day when the nation’s top safety Daxton Hill announced his decommitment after three months pledged to Maize and Blue. Revealing that he would sign with Alabama instead, it is now the Crimson Tide that is left out in the cold on his final decision. The Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington star made a last minute flip back to Michigan on Wednesday, making it official with a signed letter of intent.

Devin Bush Jr. declares for NFL Draft

Fans of the Maize and Blue received a double dose of bad news Wednesday morning from one of the Wolverines’ best players. Linebacker Devin Bush Jr. announced on Twitter that he is declaring for the NFL Draft and will forgo his senior season, also revealing that he will not play in the Peach Bowl against Florida because of the injury suffered at Ohio State.

Florida linebacker flips from Miami to Michigan

The Wolverines picked up another big addition to the 2019 recruiting class on Sunday, with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas linebacker Anthony Solomon announcing he would sign with Michigan instead of Miami, where he had previously been committed.

Cornelius Johnson announces for Michigan

Cornelius Johnson is a Wolverine. Waiting until early signing day to announce his decision, the 6-3, 195 pound wide receiver out of Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School declared his intentions to play for Michigan, selecting the Maize and Blue over Penn State.

Midgame run helps lift U-M past Western

Facing off against an in-state opponent with eyes on pulling off a big upset, the Wolverines didn’t exactly have their best game. In fact, Michigan only took its first lead as time expired in the first half. That moment was the middle of a big run that spanned either side of the break, which ultimately turned the game in U-M’s favor, leading to a 70-62 victory.
