Emerging as a strong prospect through the spring and summer months while playing AAU basketball, 2017 point guard Eli Brooks of Spring Grove, Pa. quickly generated interest from college programs, drawing several scholarship offers. It didn’t take long though for his recruitment to reach a conclusion, announcing on Tuesday evening that he would play for the Maize and Blue.

Herbert makes it Michigan with unique announcement

The Wolverines’ 2017 recruiting class has a new member, welcoming offensive lineman Kai-Leon Herbert of Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage into the fold on Wednesday. But while the announcement itself is big news for the program, the unique way in which he revealed his decision is certain to attract added attention.

Michigan lands 2017 offensive lineman

The Wolverines added another piece to their 2017 recruiting effort on Saturday, picking up a commitment from Darien, Conn. offensive lineman Andrew Stueber. The 6-6, 285 pounder attended the Wolverines’ satellite camp in New Jersey, where offensive line coach Tim Drevno was not present, then stopped by Ann Arbor for the Big Man Camp, earning a scholarship with his performance.

Michigan out in front for big defensive back Bell

The Wolverines are quickly becoming a fixture in Georgia, reaching into the Peach State for three of their last four verbal commitments. They stand a good shot now of landing another during the summer, with 2017 defensive back/athlete Dennis Bell of Ellenwood Cedar Grove leaning strongly in that direction.
