Michigan’s 2015 recruiting class is nearly complete when it comes to scholarship players, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be other additions. On Saturday evening, news broke that Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice defensive end Jack Dunaway had reach the decision to accept a preferred walk-on opportunity with the Wolverines.

Appeal on hardship waiver denied for Ty Isaac

Sophomore running back Ty Isaac transferred to Michigan from Southern Cal this summer with hopes of seeing the field right away. The move by former five-star prospect was motivated at least in part by his family’s inability to visit him in college given a medical condition after surgery that has prevented his mother from flying. As such, he moved closer to his home in Illinois and sought a waiver from the NCAA that would let him take the field immediately.

Wolverines announce 15 aircraft flyover

For the second week in a row, the Michigan football game will be preceded by a flyover, this time with the Wolverines going all out in a 15 aircraft show. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the University of Michigan Department of Aerospace Engineering, the flyover will include 12 different airplanes, including the iconic P-51 Mustang, and the three helicopters. The show will begin at approximately 3:15 p.m. eastern, 15 minutes before kickoff against Utah.

Time and television added to hoops schedule

The dates for Michigan’s basketball games were already known, but only a handful of contests had specific information on times and television broadcast. That changed on Thursday afternoon, with the Big Ten releasing all of the conference games that would appear on CBS or the ESPN family of networks.

Chris Hunter joins Michigan basketball staff

A former team captain for the Michigan basketball team, Chris Hunter will return to Ann Arbor as a member of the administrative staff. The Wolverines announce on Friday that Hunter will join the program as the new Director of Player Personnel.
