The Wolverines 2018 class is still in just the early stages of unfolding, but added a significant addition on Tuesday evening, grabbing a pledge from Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, son of former Michigan great Chris Hutchinson.

Video: Beilein, players speak heading into Sweet 16

The Wolverines will take on Oregon in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, looking to continue their win streak, which currently sits at seven games. Heading into the matchup, head coach John Beilein, as well as players Derrick Walton Jr., Zak Irvin, Moritz Wagner and D.J. Michigan Pro Day video interviews

Michigan set a program record this year for participants in the NFL Combine and drew a big crowd scouts and NFL coaches for Friday’s Pro Day event, which featured several other players that were not in Indianapolis. U-M falls short in closing seconds to exit tournament

Derrick Walton Jr. continued his sensational run from the second half of the season, once again taking the team on his shoulder in the Wolverines’ Sweet 16 appearance against Oregon on Thursday evening. The senior guard's heroics came up just a bit shy though in the closing seconds with a would-be game winner from three point range hitting the front of the rim, sending the Maize and Blue home with a 69-68 loss.

Video: QBs talk competition heading into game week

One of the big questions throughout the offseason, which still lingers now with fall camp wrapping up, was who would start under center for the Wolverines in the opening game. That question may not be answered for fans until the first snap against Hawaii, but on Friday afternoon, the three main competitors, Wilton Speight, John O’Korn and Shane Morris, shared their take on the matter.
