Season over, but fans should be hopeful for the future

While the Michigan basketball team didn’t have as many shining moments as years past, the 2014-15 squad will go down as one that continued to scrap and claw its way along despite numerous injuries and setbacks. That might not have been enough with the Wolverines receiving the news on Sunday evening that they did not get invited to the NIT, but rather than lingering on a sour taste, fans of the Maize and Blue should excited about what the future holds.

Wolverines battle, but ultimately fall to Buckeyes

For anyone questioning whether the Wolverines still had some fight in them, it might not have looked like it coming out of the gate, but Michigan gave rival Ohio State everything it had in a close fought battle. While Maize and Blue put forward a strong effort, in the end, they fell 42-28.

Jay Harbaugh shares thoughts on tight ends, coaching

For many coaches on the Michigan staff, spring ball has been about getting to know the players and establishing relationships. That’s the case for Jay Harbaugh as well, who is directing the team’s tight ends, but for him, it’s a new experience in other regards. While he spent the last three years working in the NFL, and was an undergraduate assistant at Oregon State prior, this is his first time directing a position group.

Michigan offer could give Vance unique opportunity

The Wolverines played host to several top prospects from within the state on Tuesday evening, with Detroit Cass Tech wide receiver / defensive back Demetric Vance among those taking in Michigan’s basketball game against Michigan State. While the outcome of that contest wasn’t a positive one for the home team, the 2016 football prospect came away impressed with what he learned about the Maize and Blue.
