Saturday’s BBQ at the Big House saw the Wolverines play host to several top recruits, and the event has quickly paid dividends. Michigan picked up its second commitment of the day from the 2019 class, adding Louisville (Ky.) Trinity defensive end Stephen Herron Jr.

Regarded as one of the top prospects in the nation, the 6-4, 235 pound Herron selected the Wolverines over a wide array of scholarship offers from schools such as Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee, Stanford, Texas, Virginia Tech and many more.

The third player to pledge to the Wolverines for the 2019 class, Herron joins offensive lineman Nolan Rumler, who announced earlier in the day, and linebacker Charles Thomas.
