Coming off a breakout junior season, Michigan forward D.J. Wilson decided to move on to the next level, declaring early for the NBA Draft. On Thursday evening, he learned his fate, selected with the 17th pick of the first round by the Milwaukee Bucks.

Starting 36 of 38 games in his final season, Wilson averaged 11.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game.

Wilson became the sixth Wolverine taken in the first round in the last five years and the eighth Michigan player drafted in the John Beilein era.
