Jourdan Lewis will continue his playing career alongside Taco Charlton, joining his Michigan teammate as a member of the Dallas Cowboys. Lewis was taken with the 28th pick of the third round, No. 92 overall, becoming the fourth former Wolverine taken in the NFL draft.

A two-time All-American, Lewis made 30 career starts and set the Michigan record for pass breakups with 45. He finished his career with 133 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss and six interceptions.

Lewis wasn’t the only former Detroit Cass Tech defensive back to go in the late third, with safety Delano Hill taken just three spots down by the Seattle Seahawks.

An All-Big Ten Second-Team selection by the coaches as a senior, Hill finished his career with 119 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass breakups. He will join former teammate Frank Clark, who is entering his third year in Seattle.
