The Wolverines continue to have a sensational month of December on the recruiting front, on Friday picking up a commitment from top linebacker Drew Singleton out of Paramus (N.J.) Catholic. The news comes on the heels of grabbing Jordan Anthony, giving the Maize and Blue two of the top linebackers in the nation committing in as many days.

Standing in at 6-3, 220 pounds, Singleton is rated as a four-star prospect by the major recruiting services, coming in as the No. 51 overall prospect on Rivals, the No. 72 player in the nation on Scout, No. 79 overall on 247 Sports and No. 162 on ESPN, with each source listing him top-5 at his position.

He follows in the line of Rashan Gary, Jabrill Peppers and Juwann Bushell-Beatty as a member of the Paladins to play for the Wolverines.

Singleton is Michigan’s 26th commitment for the 2017 recruiting class.
