Round two BBQ tweets

We updated the original story with several tweets throughout the day, but with players wrapping up events at Michigan’s BBQ at the Big House event, prospects on hand have provided several new updates.

Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake junior wide receiver Artavis Scott reported that he did not receive a scholarship offer from Michigan on the visit. He is now headed on his way to a recruiting trip at Notre Dame. Despite not getting the offer from the Maize and Blue, he had the following positive note to report.

His offensive line teammate Mason Cole, who does hold an offer, continued with his earlier praise of the visit.

Recent Michigan commitment, cornerback Ross Douglas, noted that he will be enrolling early at Michigan. He provided tweets with photos of him and his father in the Michigan locker room as well as Douglas with Brady Hoke inside Michigan Stadium.

Michigan U-Back commitment Khalid Hill of Detroit Crockett had the following to say while on his visit, noting later that he, David Dawson and Derrick Green were headed to shop for some Michigan gear.

Offensive lineman commitment Chris Fox made the trip in all the way from Parker, Col. and posted this photo of Logan Tuley-Tillman, Derrick Green, David Dawson, himself and Kyle Bosch (featured above).

2014 linebacker Michael Ferns of Saint Clairsville (Ohio)  reported back that he had a great time at the BBQ event. The trip also included a first for the young athlete. Picture.

2014 quarterback prospect Tyler Wiegers used his trip to the Michigan locker room to try on the jersey of another Detroit Country Day player, Kenny Demens.

McCray added the following tweet on the trip.

Finally, 2014 offensive lineman Jamarco Jones of Chicago (Ill.) De La Salle has a Michigan offer and planned to attend, but was unable to make the trip. He had this to say about that development.
