Wolverines claim road victory at Indiana

Winning on the road hasn’t exactly been the hallmark of the current Michigan team. In fact, prior to Sunday afternoon, they hadn’t claimed a single victory on an opponent’s home court. With two-thirds of the remaining regular season schedule consisting of road games, the Maize and Blue took a big step in proving they were capable though, defeating Indiana 75-63.

Tom Brady may well have already made his case as the best NFL quarterback of all-time even before Sunday evening, but the former Wolverine added another big point to his resume, leading the New England Patriots to a 34-28 overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI.

Wolverines dominant in win over Michigan State

Taking on Michigan State for the second time in nine days, the Wolverines hoped to avenge an eight-point loss on the road in the previous meeting. To say they accomplished that goal would be huge understatement. Riding a hot shooting start and strong defensive effort that forced 21 turnovers, Michigan blew out its in-state rival Tuesday evening, claiming an 86-57 victory.

Harbaugh optimistic on eligibility for Johnson

The Wolverines already learned that cornerback Jeremy Clark will not receive a sixth year of eligibility from the NCAA, but the case for running back Drake Johnson is one that should be far more compelling. His head coach Jim Harbaugh expressed optimism on that situation while speaking on Wednesday.
