In-state junior quarterback drawing interest

Among the junior prospects to express a strong interest in the Maize and Blue, in-state signal caller Tyler Wiegers of Detroit Country Day attended the Michigan summer camp in June and returned for the BBQ at the Big House a month later.

Morgan ready to move forward into Big Ten play

Considered a strength of the team a year ago, the defense was in some respects a disappointment in the first few games of the season, allowing too many yards on the ground. Against Notre Dame, however, the Wolverines stepped up on that side of the ball and had their best performance of the non-conference. According to linebacker Desmond Morgan, that game represented proof of progress.

Video: Robinson ready to move forward

Denard Robinson's last performance on the football field is one that he would like to forget. Accounting for five turnovers in the game against the Fighting Irish, a 13-6 loss, the senior quarterback stepped up to take responsibility for the defeat in post-game discussions. Forced to sit on that performance through the bye week, he is excited to move forward into Big Ten play on Saturday.
