Michigan checks in on Pike junior prospects

Attending the final full day of activities of the Michigan summer camp in June, the Indianapolis (Ind.) Pike duo of wide receiver Dominique Booth and quarterback Brent Lyles were among the better prospects in attendance. With the Wolverines having a bye last week, linebackers coach Mark Smith stopped by their high school to check on the progress of the talented duo.

Through the years: Beginning Big Ten play

This weekend Michigan will travel to West Lafayette to begin conference play for the 2012 season.  The Wolverines enter the game not having lost a conference opener in six seasons, while Purdue has won 12 of their last 15 games to start league play.  But on Saturday, only one team will remain unbeaten in the Big Ten and one step closer to Indianapolis for the conference title game.
