The Wolverines 2018 class is still in just the early stages of unfolding, but added a significant addition on Tuesday evening, grabbing a pledge from Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, son of former Michigan great Chris Hutchinson.

Report: Scott Turner to join Michigan staff

Whether it happens in the near future or is delayed until next year, college football teams will likely be welcoming a 10th member to their assistant coaching staffs down the road. Regardless of when the change takes place, it looks like Michigan already has its man lined up, with MMBQ’s Albert Breer reporting that former Minnesota Vikings quarterback coach Scott Turner is headed to Ann Arbor.

Wolverines fall in OT at Minnesota

Battling with Minnesota on Sunday evening, Michigan’s D.J. Wilson stepped up to hit a long three in the closing seconds of regulation, sending the contest into overtime. Despite Wilson once again making a big shot late in the extra session, the Wolverines needed one more to fall, and a final key effort from Derrick Walton Jr. failed to hit the mark, sending the Maize and Blue home with an 83-78 defeat.

Michigan pushes past Wisconsin as Irvin breaks slump
