Courted away from their 10-year relationship with Adidas, the Wolverines announced last summer that they would reunite with Nike in an apparel deal worth as much as $173.8 million. Among the features of that contract were the use of Michael Jordan’s Jumpman gear for football and basketball, and that connection between the Maize and Blue and the former Chicago Bulls great will be further cemented this fall.

Report: Wolverines add Kentucky basketball transfer

The Wolverines suffered significant levels of attrition following the season, bidding farewell to Aubrey Dawkins, Ricky Doyle, Kameron Chatman and Spike Albrecht, who all transferred. News hit on Monday though that one of the two open scholarship will be filled by a move into the program from Kentucky shooting guard Charles Matthews.
