Signing at least 29 players in each of the last two recruiting classes, Michigan’s next group of players for 2018 will look very different. In fact, with eight players verbally committed so far, the Wolverines are already running into a numbers crunch. We take a look at where things stand at present in terms of scholarship numbers and distribution.

Drake Harris announces switch of position

Once regarded as an elite wide receiver in the nation, a string of injuries have held back Drake Harris from reaching his potential up to this point in his career. Heading into his redshirt junior season, the former Grand Rapids Christian star will give a new position a try, he revealed on Twitter Monday afternoon.

U-M puts finishing touches on 2018 and 2019 schedules

Michigan’s 2018 and 2019 schedules were already largely completed last year, with the cancelling of a home-and-home series with Arkansas, replaced by Notre Dame, plus the addition of a matchup with Army. The Wolverines announced this week the scheduling of two more games, wrapping up the completed schedule for both seasons.

Joe Milton announces commitment to Michigan

The Wolverines have their quarterback for the 2018 recruiting class. Orlando (Fla.) Olympia star signal caller Joe Milton announced his plans on Sunday afternoon, revealing that he’ll wear the Maize and Blue at the next level.

Jeremy Clark drafted by Jets

Jeremy Clark played only three games as a senior, knocked out of the season by a torn ACL before the start of conference play. Despite that setback, the former Michigan corner was drafted by the New York Jets with the 13th pick of the sixth round, going at No. 197 overall.
